 With the support of the  Hungarian Multi-Program of the National Research, Development, and Innovation Office Avidin enriched its equipment park and its experimental development activities. In cutting-edge development, new and unique cell biology reagent kit panels were created to detect and quantify the presence of unique markers and their levels in a multi-dimensional detection system by employing FACS instruments, thereby using marker screening in diagnostic applications.  The project involved real estate development as well:  solar panels were equiped of Avidin’s building. The following equipments were purchased and initialized: FACS, FLASH, HPLC/MS.

The CytoFLEX LX 5 laser cytometer, is used to set up cell biology tests and develop protocols, the CombiFlashchromatography unit is used to create large quantities of fluorescent raw materials, and the HPLC-MS devices are used for the analysis and quality control of fluorescent dyes and the purification of activated, small amounts of fluorophore coupling agents.

Furthermore, the construction of the solar system in the project reduced the costs as a renewable energy source.

The results generated during the experimental development of the project can be utilized by private medical laboratories, private hospitals, and other diagnostic laboratories operating in human oncology, inflammatory and infectious diseases. The results represent marker diagnostics based on multi-parameter and fluorescent detection of blood samples for research use.
